You would not get into a car to begin a journey of 100 miles to a destination you have never been to before without some kind of map or navigation system.
But for some reason 95% of the population decide that's exactly how they'll live their life. They just take each day, each month, each year without having complete clarity on their purpose of existing, and wonder why their dreams start feeling less and less achievable.
One of my favourite personal development speakers was the late Jim Rohn. Jim had many classic quotes, but one that springs to mind right now is
“If you don’t design your own life plan, chances are you’ll fall into someone else’s plan. And guess what they have planed for you? Not much.”
